I've specialized in residential real estate financing since 1993. I truly love what a I do, especially knowing that I am a part of my clients’ financial success.  I have worked in many different interest-rate environments and have developed a big-picture perspective.  Steering clients in the right direction and treasuring the relationships I have with them has resulted in a satisfying career.

The recent "mortgage meltdown" has not slowed down my business  -- I never recommended risky loans to my clients in the first place, and none of them are facing financial  hardship due to poor mortgage planning.   In fact, I am busier than ever trying to rescue people from the risky loans they obtained from other lenders.

From the beginning, I have obtained clients solely from referrals.  I have personally met 99% of my clients.  My style is very "hands-on"; I handle every part of your transaction personally.

Because I have listened and cared, I have continued to work with the same clients, and their friends and colleagues over the course of many years.  As their real estate portfolios grow, I am there to help analyze the long-term picture and to develop a new game plan to insure success regardless of market conditions.

I have presented seminars to first-time buyers and shared my expertise with new real estate agents in my "Financing 101" course. I recently led a workshop on buying a second home in the Wine Country, and have been a guest columnist on bettyslist.com.

Prior to joining the mortgage industry, I was a civil litigation attorney in San Francisco. I have a B.A. from San Francisco State University in Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance, and a J.D. from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. I am a licensed California mortgage broker (license #01161948), and a member of the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) and the California Association of Mortgage Brokers. I am also in the process of obtaining my NAMB certification as a Certified Mortgage Consultant.

I worked as a Senior Mortgage Consultant with Pacific Guarantee Mortgage in San Francisco for 12 years. In mid-2005, I joined another firm, then re-joined Guarantee Mortgage in November 2007.

I live in Sonoma, California. I have two daughters, ages 11 and 13. I enjoy cooking, gardening, reading and being with my children.
